AgeSin® RA-FR06

Chemical Name: Organic Sulfinic Acid Derivative

General information:

AgeSin® RA-FR06 is a very active reducing agent, which forms a redox reaction system with peroxides such as ammonium persulfate and tert-butyl hydroperoxide, and is used in emulsion systems through free radical polymerization. AgeSin® RA-FR06 is a sodium salt of an organic sulfinic acid derivative

Features&Properties:

• Improve the reaction activity, reduce the residual amount of monomers, and have an oxygen-inhibiting effect,can eliminate stripping process under certain condition.
• No formaldehyde is produced, and the only byproducts after the reaction are salts and carbon dioxide.
• When used in conjunction with hydrogen peroxide, it will not produce VOCS problems such as butanol and acetone (reduce the VOC produced by tert-butyl hydroperoxide).
• It can increase the whiteness of the emulsion and film, and the polymer film-forming material will not turn yellow after the reaction.

Application:

• Applied to post-treatment of emulsion polymerization systems such as acrylic acid, VAE and styrene-butadiene to eliminate residual monomers, and can eliminate stripping process under certain condition.
• Applied to the initiation of the main polymerization reaction of free radical reaction, it can quickly initiate free radical polymerization at low temperature.
• The recommended addition amount is 0.03-0.3%.
• The recommended operating temperature is 60-75℃.
• It is recommended to prepare it before use, and the concentration of aqueous solution is 3%-5%.
• It is recommended to drip continuously in batches during use.

Storage:

Store in a dry, clean, ventilated warehouse. Avoid exposure to light and high temperature. Can be stored for 24 months in the original packaging.
